Joint Party Building Efforts Unite Strengths; Respect for the Elderly on Double Ninth Festival Warms Hearts

On the afternoon of October 9, as the traditional Chinese Double Ninth Festival — a day dedicated to honoring the elderly — was approaching, a delegation of four members from the company's Party branch, together with the labor union, brought Bee & Flower hair and body care products to the Maqiao Town Nursing Home. They participated in the Party-building co-construction Double Ninth Festival outreach event themed "Party Branches Unite to Shine Upon the Sunset Years, Warm Hearts for Seniors on the Double Ninth Festival," organized by the Maqiao Community Affairs Service Center.
Our company, Beeflower Daily Necessities, and others… 5 Representatives of the grassroots Party organizations from Jiamaqiao’s “Two Enterprises and Three New Sectors” presented elderly residents at the nursing home with gifts for the Double Ninth Festival, including pastries, fruits, and personal care products. They also brought a vibrant array of cultural performances, extending warm holiday greetings and heartfelt wishes: “Wishing you all a happy festival and good health and long life!”
Subsequently, the group, led by the director of the senior care center, toured the Maqiao Town Senior Care Facility. The facility’s floor plans seamlessly integrate local Maqiao cultural elements, while its living spaces are clean and welcoming. Thoughtful, meticulous design details and convenient accessibility features create a warm, respectful atmosphere that honors and cares for the elderly. Attendees unanimously praised the hotel‑style management, noting that it provides residents with peace of mind, ensuring they are well cared for and supported in their later years.
Finally, representatives from the joint Party-building initiative joined the senior citizens in watching a cultural performance and posed for a group photo.
Respecting and caring for the elderly is a time-honored virtue of the Chinese nation. It is hoped that all parties involved in this joint Party-building initiative will take this event as an opportunity to unite in purpose, work hand in hand, and continue to uphold the spirit of jointly fostering civility and building a better community, thereby creating a new Maqiao that is both civilized and harmonious.
